Established in 2026, we release a weekly newsletter that dissects a wide range of topics, ranging from technology and politics to fashion and the arts. Jiarui is a graduate of Raffles Institution who enjoys writing, playing music and a good game of table tennis. Though skeptical of many things, he believes he has two truly useful talents: sleeping, and eating (he doesn't believe in a "favourite food"). Also, never ask him about the figure who inspires him the most, or else he will probably start talking non-stop between Kita Shinsuke and Miya Atsumu (anime characters, sigh) from Haikyuu! To The Top.
In school, though he takes the PCME combination and is perhaps still traumatised by the last letter, he has always been passionate about reading and writing. In 2025, he was the top General Paper student of his cohort, achieving 46/50 for Paper 1 and 44/50 (12/12 AQ) for Paper 2 during the A-Level Prelims. His GP essays have been selected for both editions of RI's KS Bull publication in his Junior College years. Previously, he also attained Top in English Language, Top in Literature (Raffles Programme), and Top In Literature (Raffles Academy). Game on!
